Text messages from Favist

Favist never asks for a phone number. You can create an account and use every part of the product without one. If you choose to add a number in your settings, this page is exactly what you are agreeing to.

What we send

Transactional messages only

No marketing, no promotions, no offers. If Favist ever wants to text you something promotional, it will ask separately.

  • Verification codes when you sign in or confirm a change
  • Account and security notifications, such as a new sign-in or a change to your plan
  • Replies from customer support when you have asked us something
How often

Message frequency varies and depends on your own activity.

What it costs

Favist charges nothing for messages. Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also remove your number in settings.

How you opt in

One place, off by default

The only place Favist collects a phone number is Settings, under Text messages. This is that control, reproduced exactly as it appears once you are signed in.

Shown for reference, not a working form

I agree to receive transactional SMS messages from Favist, including verification codes, account notifications, and customer-service messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. You are not required to consent as a condition of any purchase.

By continuing, you agree to Favist’s Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

What you see after opting in

Saved. You can reply STOP at any time.

The screen then shows the date you agreed, and the same control lets you untick the box or remove the number entirely. The first message you receive is a sign-in code, and it looks like this:

123456 is your Favist sign-in code. It expires in 15 minutes. Favist will never ask you for it. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg&data rates may apply.

  • The box starts unticked, and ticking it is a separate action from accepting the Terms.
  • Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of creating an account, of any purchase, or of any feature.
  • Withdrawing consent takes one tap in the same place, or one reply of STOP.
Your number

Not sold, not shared, not marketed to

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number, your SMS consent, or your SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share it with the messaging provider that delivers the message on our behalf, and with nobody else except where the law requires it.

The full detail is in the SMS section of the Privacy Policy and the SMS section of the Terms. Questions about messaging go to hi@favist.ai.
