Smart Link Sharing

Share one link forever.
Change where it goes, anytime.

Every favi.st link can be repointed whenever you want, so printed QR codes and links you already sent stay correct. And the analytics count people, with machine traffic reported on its own.

Durable by design

The link outlives the campaign

Print it on a poster in March and it can still be right in December. One address, a history of destinations, and nothing broken along the way.

Nothing reprinted Nothing re-shared Analytics stay on one timeline

Thirty seconds

Easier than the tool you use today

No workspace to set up, no domain to buy, no analytics to wire. Three steps and the address is permanent.

Paste anything

Any public address becomes a favi.st link in one tap, with your campaign tags applied automatically.

Share it once

Post it, print it, hand out the QR. That address is permanent, so anything you send stays good.

Keep steering it

Repoint the destination, route by country or device, and read the visits that were actually human.

Your own address

A name, not a random code

Other shorteners hand you a random code and then sell you a branded domain to escape it. On Favist the namespace is the product: one address people recognize, readable child links under it, and a single timeline behind all of them.

And it opens something real. A favi.st name points at your Favist profile by default, so it already carries your bio, your channels and everything you have collected. A link-in-bio page is a list of links on somebody else's site. This is an address you own, with a home behind it, that you can also run on your own domain.

  • No DNS to configure, no renewal to chase, no certificate to babysit
  • Child links inherit your campaign tags and routing rules
  • Repoint the root without touching a single child link
  • Point it at your Favist profile, your own domain, or anywhere else
favi.st/juno/tokyo
Fast domain

Short, neutral and resolved at the edge. The recipient pays no branding tax.

Your namespace

A durable personal address you own and can repoint at will. It opens your Favist profile until you tell it otherwise.

Child link

Readable per-campaign links under your name, all reporting to one timeline.

Only on Favist

A link people can keep, not just click

Every other shortener ends at a redirect. A Favist SmartLink can carry the recommendation itself, so whoever opens it can save the record, the restaurant or the whole list into their own Favist and find it again later.

  • Save it to my lists, straight from the link you sent
  • Follow the list so later additions show up
  • Works for a single item or an entire collection

Honest analytics

Everyone counts clicks. We count people.

Favist classifies every visit before it counts. People are measured, AI assistants are reported on their own so you can see who is citing you, and crawlers and preview bots are free.

  • People. Counted. These are the visits worth understanding.

  • AI assistants. Reported on their own, so you can see who is citing you.

  • Crawlers and previews. Free. They never reach your bill and never move a chart.

An illustration of how the meter works, not measured data. Your own mix depends entirely on where a link is shared.

The quota question

Where the meter sits decides what you pay

On a busy link, a large share of hits are crawlers, chat previews and uptime checks. Whether they land inside the meter is the whole difference.

What it does

What we are building

The whole plan, with every item marked for what it actually is. Nothing here is claimed as shipped, because nothing here has shipped.

Short links for any URL

Planned

Turn any valid public link into a fast favi.st SmartLink.

Unlimited Favist shares

Planned

Sharing something already in Favist never counts against a link allowance.

Links keep working

Planned

Reaching an analytics allowance reduces what gets measured. It never stops a link from resolving.

Change the destination anytime

Planned

Repoint a SmartLink without changing the short URL or losing its history.

QR codes

Planned

Every SmartLink has a QR code. Change where it points and printed codes follow.

UTM builder and templates

Planned

Save campaign presets once, apply them in a tap, see the exact final URL.

Smart routing

Planned

Send people to different destinations by country, device, language or time.

Your own favi.st/name

Planned

A durable personal address you can repoint at will, with recognizable child links under it.

People, not noise

Planned

Bots, preview crawlers and uptime checks are separated out so the numbers reflect real visits.

AI visibility

Planned

See which AI assistants read your link and how many people arrived from an AI answer.

Links that know what they are

Planned

When Favist recognizes a song, product, place, book or film, the link can open the service the recipient actually uses.

Save to Favist

Planned

Whoever opens your link can keep the recommendation, and remember who sent it.

Shared with me

Planned

Every recommendation you have been sent, searchable, instead of lost in a chat thread.

Use your own affiliate accounts

Planned

Favist takes no share of commissions you earn through your own accounts.

Favist-managed monetization

Planned

Where a merchant relationship exists and its terms allow it, opt in and Favist monetizes eligible recommendations for you.

Sell your own products

Planned

Publish an offer, let other people promote it, and see sales and commissions in one place.

Conversion tracking

Planned

Connect clicks to verified outcomes on sites you control.

Custom domains

Planned

Use your own domain instead of favi.st.

API, webhooks and assistant access

Planned

Create and measure links from your own code, or from the Favist assistant.

A/B testing

Planned

Split traffic across two destinations on the same short link and see which one wins.

Safety scanning

Planned

Every destination is scanned before a link goes live, and rescanned on repoint, so a favi.st link stays something people can trust.

Your name opens your Favist

Planned

A favi.st name points at your Favist profile by default, so it carries your bio, your channels and everything you have collected rather than an empty redirect.

Links assistants can act on

Planned

A machine-readable description of what sits behind a link, so an assistant can answer with it, cite it, and act on it instead of guessing from a redirect.

Where it earns its keep

Four ways people use one link

The same primitive, pointed at very different problems.

Printed and physical

Posters, menus, packaging, stickers. The QR is pressed once and the destination keeps moving.

Creators and artists

One address in your bio that becomes the pre-save, then the release, then the tour, without a new post each time.

Recommendations

Send a list of places, records or reads. Whoever opens it can keep the whole thing rather than just click through.

AI visibility

See when assistants and crawlers fetch your link, kept separate from the people who actually arrived.

What stands behind it

A promise is only as good as what defends it

Telling people to print a link is a serious thing to ask. Here is what sits behind that.

The name is yours, not your plan's

A claimed favi.st name renews on its own cycle. Changing plans does not take it away, and we warn you long before a renewal that anything printed depends on.

A backup domain is registered and ready

One shared domain is one thing that can go wrong. A second is held in reserve so links can be answered from it if favi.st is ever blocked somewhere.

Destinations are scanned, not just stored

Every destination is checked before it goes live and rechecked when it changes. A domain everyone shares only stays clickable if it is defended.

Redirects outlive your allowance

Passing your tracked-visit allowance changes how much gets measured. It never stops a link from resolving, on any plan.

Pricing

Redirects are always unlimited

Allowances shape how much gets measured. A SmartLink is never switched off because of a usage limit. A tracked visit is one visit from a real person that your plan keeps detailed analytics for. These are planned prices and may change before launch.
