Copyright (DMCA) Policy

Favist respects intellectual-property rights and responds to clear notices of alleged infringement. Favist is a discovery and curation layer — we don't host or stream media; playback happens through licensed services (see Copyright & Creators). When a valid notice concerns user-submitted content, we act on it.

How we handle a notice

1. Receive & log. Every notice is logged with a content status and a resolution status. 2. Review. We check it has the required elements and is made in good faith. 3. Act. If valid, we disable or remove the identified user content and notify the affected user. 4. Repeat infringers. Accounts with repeated, substantiated infringement may be terminated.

We protect our users from misuse

Filing a notice does not automatically remove content. We evaluate each notice for validity and may reject ones that are incomplete, unsubstantiated, or abusive. Misrepresenting that material is infringing can carry liability under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice at copyright@favist.ai; if appropriate, we will restore the content.
