Receive files with File Inbox

File Inbox is your personal, portable inbox for files, like a postbox that anyone you allow can drop files into.

How it works

• Turn it on in Settings → File Inbox.
• People send files from your profile (or an [embed](/help/embedding)).
• Every file is held in a private quarantine and scanned before you can open it. Nothing is ever shown publicly.

Control who can send

• Optionally require sender approval: a would-be sender submits their name and email, and you approve or block them.
• You decide what file types and limits to accept.

It's cloud-agnostic and built as a receiver, not a file-sharing service.
