Why curation beats the feed
The feed is built to keep you scrolling. A curated list is built to keep something. There's a difference, and it matters.

Feeds are great at one job: keeping you here. Curation is great at a harder one: helping you leave with something.
A list of ten favorites is more honest than ten thousand likes. It says: out of everything I saw, these stayed.
The internet is overflowing with content. What it's starving for is taste.
